Ray Hadley, a legendary radio presenter, has announced his retirement from 2GB after an incredible 43-year career ¹ ² ³. Hadley's journey began in 1981 as a traffic reporter at 2UE, where he impressed the news director, Mark Collier, while working as a cab driver ³. He quickly transitioned to calling Rugby League matches and racing meets, becoming a full-time fixture at 2UE by 1983.
